I have been a patient of Dr Zubarik for nearly 15 years after my UC was initially misdiagnosed. He is by far the best doctor I have had. He always address concerns, very informative and takes symptoms very seriously. I was hospitalized for a severe flare up three years ago and while he was out on bereavement at the time he still consulted with one of his colleagues to ensure I received the very best care.
Dr Zubarik has treated my husband for about 1 1/2 years and we find him to be personable, informative, exceptionally well qualified and caring. We were referred to him by our surgical oncologist to deal with his Krohn’s disease and are very satisfied with his treatment and recommend him highly.
Excellent, caring, compassionate GI physician - I'm not certain what happened with previous reviewers, but I am a complex patient who has been with Dr. Zubarik for many years. He has always taken time with me and treated me with superior care. He referred me to an outside team when it was appropriate, and treated me himself until that time. Once the outside specialist had completed his treatment, Dr. Zubarik welcomed me back. He has never been anything but kind and thorough with me; answers any question to the best of his ability; is always pretty close to on time... I have no complaints at all, and actually asked him for a recommendation for a PCP when I needed one, and THAT PCP has been spectacular. Dr. Richard Zubarik has been my GI doctor 20+ years. He diagnosed me with UC in my early twenties. During times of flares ups Dr. Zubarik has always responded quickly knows the best treatment to bring flare under control. 20+ years taking care of people's rear ends I'm confident he knows what he's doing.
A year ago Dr. Zubarik found a large tumor, he immediately sent me to a wonderful surgeon who operated right away.I feel so thank full for the wonderful care I received. I recently had to return for a follow up and Dr. Zubarik, was just as great , kind and thoughtful.
