Richard Gelber, MD, FAAP

We have been seeing Dr Gelber since the year he started practice at Cornerstone Pediatrics. Dr Gelber has always been friendly, approachable, patient, and passionate. Dr Gelber cared both of our children and watched them to become healthy teenagers now.

Dr. Gelber went above and beyond to help my daughter when she was sick. She was a hard case to figure out. As always, he figured it out and she got better. He is not my daughter's regular doctor but we had seen him before. I was a mess and he was very patient and logical. I appreciate the caution Cornerstone took to keep everyone safe. We waited in the parking lot and Dr. Gelber came out in the hot parking lot to examine and consult with us. He called every day to check up on her. Thank you so much!

In our experience, Dr. Gelber is an exceptional pediatrician. He’s treated our son (12) and daughter (7) since birth. Kind, caring, compassionate, encouraging, and taking a wholistic approach to child care management. We are thankful for Dr.G!

We attribute our present issues mainly to practice mismanagement. However, Dr. Gelber seems unable to be helpful or sympathetic in navigating the dysfunction that continues to impact both our child's clinical care and the time I can reasonably be expected to deal with it. As sad as we are to leave the only local physician conversant in healthy whole food plant-based nutrition, we will likely need to find a more streamlined EMR-based practice nearer to us.

If you go to this place, Avoid Dr. Gelber. Our son is a normal looking 13 year old kid. The Doctor insluted his weight and went off on some tangent regarding a freak diet he himself is on. My wife was also very insulted by his bedside manner. He is an insult to pediatrics and needs to learn how to be constructive to young children. A grown adult doctor should never behave like this.
