Where do I even begin. I owe this amazing man right here everything. Back in March 3, 2016 at the age of 24 my husband was in a horrible motorcycle accident. His diagnosis was internal decapitation, he had a 1% survival rate. Ever since Dr. Ostrup showed up and spoke to me he was always very clear about the procedure and gave me hope when I didn’t have any. My husband survived the long surgery with such impressive results. Thanks to Dr. Ostrup my husband and I were able to create a little family and welcomed our third blessing this year. Dr. Ostrup is the very best doctor I have ever come across and we’ve met a lot of them. He was always so attentive, I hope Dr. Ostrup knows he is an angel and a great surgeon. I rarely take the time to write a review. However my excellent experience with Dr. Ostrup and his staff have compelled me to share my thoughts. I suffered from Spinal Stenosis for 2 years. I experienced daily leg pain that would not relent. I was referred to a Neurologist who referred me to Dr. Ostrup and suggested that I should get an MRI before seeing Dr. Ostrup, which I did. The MRI showed clearly that I needed a Spinal Decompression (L4/L5). Dr. Ostrup's staff was professional, caring and supportive throughout the process. The surgery went well, and I only needed to stay at the hospital overnight for observation. Dr. Ostrup met me at the door with a relaxed, upbeat friendly style. He put me at ease from the get go. His confidence and professionalism gave me the support I needed to go through spinal surgery. I inquired with other doctors and nurses about Dr. Ostrup and always received a glowing report. I cannot say enough about his team. They work together beautifully and always made me feel cared for. I would not hesitate to call Dr. Ostrup with any future needs. And yes, my surgery was a success.

Dr. Ostrup has made a lasting impression with me. My first office visit with he and his staff put me at ease. They were very cordial to me and my situation. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor affecting my vision, causing extreme head pressure and not very comfortable on what was ahead for me. Dr. Ostrup explained to me what I had and how we were going to go forward. He cared how I felt mentally and physically and gave me "Real" information on what I was going to be going though. He reviewed several MRI's and talked with his colleagues on what would be the best procedure/result for my case, he did not rush to surgery.
