One day 7 yrs ago I had a blind spot that just developed quickly; I went to an eye doctor a Retinal Specialist Dr. Robert LaLane. I was petrified, as a 30 yr ER Doc I knew I was going blind. Dr.Lalane told me to relax, good thing you came right in, We have a monoclonal antibody treatment that can’t cure you but it sure can improve your eyesight and prevent it from getting worse. That was 7 years ago, I now have 20/20 in one eye and 20/30 in the other——pretty normal vision no blind s[ots. I drive a car and I do not wear glasses. Do I sound like I am bragging—-you bet I am. Staff members are always pleasant and professional, and Dr. LaLane is the best. He keeps up with the latest ways to improve outcome AND make my procedure as comfortable as possible. My experience at the Retinal Group of Florida is light years ahead of where I was at a previous practice.
