They charged my elderly parents $50 for being 10 minutes late, even after they called because they were lost. They are not interested in patient care at all, just the money. Stay far far away. Your retinas, and your wallet, will thank you.

I tried to have an ultrasound for wife that had surgery with another doctor. Didn't go well and we just wanted to know if retina is healthy. The office manager interigated my wife when we stopped in to find out if and when appointment can be made. After we told her we were full time rv,ers she stated we HAVE to stay in one place, like she can tell us how to live. Finally she said we CANCELLED an appointment more then two years ago and doc would let us know if my wife was worthy of another appt. Never received correspondence from anyone. How unprofessional. Doc you need new help.

Dr. Mames and his staff are wonderful. My Husband had an eye emergency and they worked quickly to get him treated. Dr. Mames was very thorough in his care and explanation in educating us throughout the entire process. My Husband is now 3 weeks out from his eye procedure which they were able to do in office, and his vision is restored and he is on the right path of recovery. Highly recommend this office!

Dr. Manes...Where do I begin... my 1st couple of visits I was overcharged. leading to them holding a large sum of my money (over 400) When I called same day to cancel one of those appointments due to my grandfather's sudden passing they charged me a cancellation fee of 50 (they took this out of what they egregiously over charged me the 1st time) When I went into my 1st laser eye surgery I could not keep my opposite eye open due to extreme light sensitivity. When I told the doctor I could not open it he told me to "use my brain" WHAT EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER HE HAS. Had an eye emergency with a retinal detachment, and Dr. Mames made a point to see and treat me on a non-clinic day. He went out of his way to help me and made me feel cared for. He performed an eye procedure in office same day to repair the detached retina and I am now 3 weeks out and vision is restored and I am on the right path for healing. I am so thankful for his attention and expert care from him and his nursing staff. Thank you!
