Reo Vista Healthcare Center

My mother just recently died from a stroke, she was there from 2021-2025. She didn’t pass there at Reo Vista but, sadly on her way back from Scripps hospital for hospice care at the nursing home. I considered that place her home, among people who actually care about their patients. I’m glad she was at Reo Vista Healthcare facility, they absolutely adored my mother and spent time with her. I’ve never experienced a bad with the staff, my mother was always well taken care of. Trust me I never announced when I would come either. I live out of town and received monthly updates about my mother’s care. They reported any injuries to me, minutes after the injury. Which were far and in between, I believe she only had three non significant scratches or bruises in the fours years at Reo. Reo Vista c

I highly recommend this place for those who need physical therapy and nursing care...The staff here are very attentive and helpful they treat their patients with the utmost respect and courtesy...most of all it is a very clean environment which was a plus for my wife 😂... The Therapists are awesome... I gave it 5 stars 🤩😍 Update: My wife was at this facility and she was treated so well by everyone there...they loved her she met new friends she was so happy being there... Unfortunately she was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista she was in ICU due to COVID and then 5 days after we made a painful decision to let her go to hospice after COVID and She passed away peacefully surrounded by her children Norma Héctor And Michael and Myself Her Husband Jose by her side...I would love to tha

My husband has had to stay At Reo vista a few times to recover. Skilled nursing facilities are not always the happiest places, and there is no perfect system. Reo Vista is better then most, clean and well ran. they all do their best we’ve never had any major issues and my husband’s care has been good. Unfortunately not everyone has family to advocate for them but the key is visiting often and staying on top of your loved ones care, speaking up when you need to. The staff is usually quick to resolve any issues. They have remodeled quite a bit, it’s looking better each time, bright and clean no bad oder which nursing facilities are infamous for. I would like to add… that their Physical & Occupational Therapy teams are awesome!

I am very happy to say that I have had overall a good experience although it could use a little bit more of a team effort by that I mean look after each other. If someone is out then try to help so there is a quicker way of helping us as patient in their needs and if you're going to take longer because you have one and one or whatever the case may be let them know so that they're not wondering when you're coming back and pressing the call button. I am so proud of all the nurses, therapist, doctors, maintenance, recreation, housekeeping and kitchen stuff for their work and keeping the place running. May you all continue doing the best and if you could improve to do the extra mile do so it will reflect on you all in the years to come. Once again thank you for your service greatly apprecia

My mother was given rehabilitation care due to a pelvic fracture; she had physiotherapy sessions that led to quick recovery. She's now discharged and back to her feet. Kudos to the superb team of caregivers! My father also stayed there as respite and experienced chest pain, Thanks to dedicated carers Jennifer Arthur & Maden who provided timely assistance and didn't leave him unattended when emergency occurred. Jennifer called for help promptly with nurses Maricor Laus and Arianne Cordova with that I commend them for Absolutely excellent care. Dr. Sato was there to give his best first aid before the paramedic came . The facility was clean, and activities were brilliant led by Arlene, Ravien, Martha, Jillian, and Jorge.
