Reliance Medical Centers - Lakeland South Clinic

So I was not going to write anything on them, but after todays call I have to warn you. I used to go there and it was great, now its a complete mess in there and there seems to be no communication with their own departments there. So my insurance changed and mind you I have Out of Network benefits and they told me that they could no longer see me and if a Dr would see me I would have to pay out of pocket, which is fine as it is a financial obligation that has to be met, but they mentioned that I could not receive a prescription for a medication if I need one. Mind you, I was sick and needed antibiotics to clear me up. I was turned away and have a feeling that the front desk didnt know what they were doing because they kept walking away to the back as no one had the answers for me. So you

Jessica is awesome. Not getting referrals done properly. I have been in the medical field since 19 and now 68. When a senior expresses herself, it is not taken well. I have had to wait and was told that I had a strong personality by the doctor when l told him the wait time of over an hour. Carmen came in and covered for her disrespectful staff with rude behavior. This is not acceptable at all! As a patient and a senior, please don’t cover for your staff. I am here to be seen only. I will update as needed.

They are so sweet and polite. They meet almost every need from exercise which Debbie Freeze is the greatest as she goes way beyond her job Transportation is friendly and helpful and kind. The doctors are sympathetic and listen to your complaints also and the nurse practitioner Talley is just one in 1 million I don’t even like nurse practitioners but I will see her anytime. Well I could go on and on but Reliance is a wonderful place and Dr. Ramiro is a peach.

My mother, husband, sister, and I have been patients there for 7 years. Cannot express the amount of times prescriptions hadn't been called in, appointments were screwed up, and genuinely was not cared for. I'm finally done with this office and on my way to find a new one. Staff is horrible and does not care. Doctors were decent but cannot compensate for faulty management.

The staff was very friendly. The frontline staff at the Winter Haven came out to the lobby and greeted everyone and offered to make anyone coffee who wanted it. Wait time to be called was reasonable. My nurse was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive and then you’ve got Dr. Carlos Romero. He was kind and caring and took the time to have a conversation to address my medical needs without dismissing my concerns. I’ve been looking for a primary care physician since I moved down here. I found one in Dr. Romero. It’s clear the Reliance medical centers are excellent for Medicare patients. I highly recommend them.
