Regional West Physicians Clinic-Urgent Care

Finally someone took me seriously. I'd had pneumonia for a month. Been seen by like 5 other doctors and I'm still sick. Today they gave me a shot, steroids for my lungs, and antibiotics. I can finally start to get better. The nurse and doctor were amazing and I'm very grateful for them!

I came to these guys on a Sunday morning, I had an abscess tooth that was severely infected. Dr Alicia Gonzalez was the provider that I seen. I tried letting her know that I had an abscess, and that it was causing me horrible, severe excruciating pain. She looked in my mouth and proceeded to tell me how there was absolutely nothing wrong with my tooth or my gums and that I had a salvatory gland that was clogged. I begged to differ with her, but apparently people are too stupid to know about their own bodies. This is not my first rodeo with an abscess, so I knew exactly what it was that I was dealing with. She just wants to argue and be right. She gave me a shot in my arm that was an antibiotic apparently, and then she sent me home with two more antibiotics. Very next day I was much worse a

Of course my daughter woke up after Thanksgiving screaming that her throat hurt and running a temp of 102.8! I dosed her up with ibuprofen and planned to take her to Quick Care first thing on Friday morning. Well turns out they were closed for Black Friday so we were then forced to go to Urgent Care. We were the first ones there. Per usual they always want to do a rapid strep test even though the provider said that her throat looked “streppy”. Even though a lot of step tests come back as negative. I swear it’s a way to jack up your bill. Then the provider comes in to tell me it’s negative even though I saw the results already on my chart since we use a Neurologist at UCHealth. Growing up, this was always my family’s go to clinic in town. But it has gone WAY downhill! Was there for an hour and a half two weeks ago. The “doctor” didn’t even bother to read my charts or even the paper I had to fill out with my symptoms. She told me I didn’t have anything in my lungs and didn’t have problems breathing like I said while she held the stethoscope over my uterus. Also told me my tonsils weren’t swollen as she was essentially giving me a mammogram. She also told me that I really just needed to go home and take a Tylenol or ibuprofen (which I am allergic to and she would’ve known had she read anything). Upon telling her about my allergies she told me to take a Claritin instead (which is a completely different classification of medication). I demanded at least a covid test.

Saw wanna be doctor Gonzalez, who seriously hires these people? She is clearly under educated and should not be treating people. She dismissed everything I told her and let me walk with out seeing anything or asking further questions. Im saddened that I know she has done this to many others. She should be fired with her lack of empathy and situational awareness. I will be reporting her beyond regional west so things actually get done.
