Dr. Alex is super knowledgeable and so easy to work with. In a few weeks, we were able to identify the root of some issues I'd been having, start correcting them, and get me back on track to my regular training routine, pain-free. She takes the time to educate patients about what she sees happening and how the work you do together is intended to address the issue, as well as how to proactively stay on top of it as you move forward, which is so valuable.

I came to Refined with a sore shoulder, it had been a persistent pain for about four months due to a strain during a workout. Dr Alex was able to access my pain and establish a good plan of remedy at our first appointment. Through the next handful of appointments she was able to relieve me of this nagging pain and work on muscle use through exercises to train muscles to minimize the risk of reoccurrence. I would definitely recommend.

I was suffering from crippling right hip pain for over a year. My daily exercise routine was excruciating and I could not sleep in one position for over an hour. My life had been reduced to working around the pain and praying for sleep. I had been to several massage therapists, an Orthopedic Surgeon, three Chiropractors, and an Acupuncturist, all of which gave me temporary relief for a day or two. Alex had me pain-free within 6 weeks. Weekly hour-long sessions and daily self-guided exercise/strengthening had me back to running and doing all the things I was doing before. I will be referring all those in need to Alex.
