Red River Urgent Care

This is the worst urgent care facility I have ever seen in my life. They are not there on Fridays even tho they claim they are till 4:30. I hate this place

I recently cut my arm rather severely and not wanting to have to drive to Paris for ER, we stopped at RRUC. We were seen immediately. Everyone was very kind and professional. Thirteen stitches and a tetanus shot later, we were home in the time it would have taken to drive 35 miles. Very pleased.

I went to Red River Urgent on the 2nd of January, 2020. I have Medicare and a Medicare supplement, they made me pay $160.00 of my yearly deductable or the wouldn't release my prescription, even those Medicare assigns the deductible to the claim that comes in first to them. Of course this claim did not come in first, so I had to pay the deductible again to some one else. It is September and they still haven't refunded my $160.00 even though my account is paid in full. I can't get the bookkeeper to even call me back, she is the owners wife! I have left several voice mail calls. I live on a fixed income so I wish I knew how to get them to refund my money!!

I went to get a covid test on Wednesday, August 18th. The person on the phone, for office asked what symptoms was I having and I told her, so I got an appointment. When I arrived I called her again and told her that I wanted the combo covid/flu/rsv test. She asked again what symptoms are you having. I told her again. Then I was called up to do test and I swear she was mad at the world, because my nose still hurts from her doing that test. Then she asked do you want to wait for results or us call you. I said I would wait. Expecting to see someone. Guess what, she called me. Rude! It was a bad experience and I will not go back. I had to call back to get a zpack. That wasn't sent over after I waited an hour.

If it’s true emergency you better not stop here because they’re not there on Fridays they take lunch at noon and close and it’s bad weather is coming hell they might close they take off for funerals weddings childbirth and car registration they never there.
