I highly recommend Dr. Raphael for integrative orthodontic work. I brought my son to him at age six to ensure he was having optimal airway development and at age seven, we began palate expansion and exercises to create new habits of nasal breathing, belly breathing, and tongue resting against the roof of his mouth. I know this will set him up for a lifetime of proper breathing, preventing sleep apnea and the associated co-morbidities associated with compromised airway. I am very grateful for his expertise and wisdom. :)

I like how their stance on health food and environment is aligned with mine. They know about Dr. Weston Price and Dr. Buteiko. I had heard about Buteiko breathing techniques but never practiced them until we came here. I thought that breathing should just come naturally… something has changed and still changing in the world. Dr. Barry is the best!! He has worked on my two girls and I was so impressed I became his patient too!! His myofacial methodalities make amazing sense and will change the orthodontic care landscape. If what I said right there doesn't make sense to you, you owe it to yourself to look it up. He and his office are so great with kids! They love going to him. My dentist was almost sure my daughter would need a tooth pulled to make room for all her teeth. Between myofacial intervention and stellar orthodontics there is plenty of room in her mouth for all her teeth. That's not to say teeth will never need to be pulled, but most of the time there is an actual problem with the structure of the jaw because of our breathing habits forcing our jaws to narrow and crowd the teeth.
