Raritan Bay Medical Center-Old Bridge

My husband came in with a metal piece stuck in his eye and I had to help him fill out the forms and even answer simple questions, he couldn’t even remember his date of birth. He didn’t get any sleep and my purpose was to help him answer any questions and make sure he was ok. They tagged me to go in with him. The first nurse (I’m assuming didn’t like that I was helping him with his answers) told me I couldn’t go in with him because where he was going only patients are allowed. My husband had no phone on him. 2 hours in, still in the waiting room and no way to make sure he’s ok, I looked up the reviews and when I saw all the 1 star reviews, I panicked. I asked the security to go check to see what they plan to do to his eye or any updates on what’s going on. He comes back and says he’s fine a

I went into the ER 2/06/2025 for chest pains HBP and dealing with a viral cold infection. Thr triage nurses Martina and Dalton were prompt and wonderful. Dr Lissette Vasquez was my attending Physician and she went above and beyond to make sure all tests were done to rule out anything else. She is compassionate truly cares about her patients , excellent bedside manner and proactive. .She informed me of all the tests and results. My nurse Marie and PCT Eduardo were also excellent and caring . The wonderful Patient access specialists in registration were excellent and professional registering me and making me feel at ease . Thank you so much for your warm welcome Compasssionate care and professional courtesy. Thank you so much to all for my care .!!

I went to the emergency room in old bridge nj. They treated me super well and quickly. Thanks to Gina Leka, APN and Liza, APN. Nurse Ginger was spectacular, very good service. I had to be hospitalized and I was on the second floor the nurses were super mega spectacular charles, Nadia, king, Elena, jualiann and the doctors thank you for everything. When I went for surgery I was very nervous and everyone was very kind and helped me calm down, especially nurse Christina. Thank you to everyone who helped me.

I took my husband there to the ER to replace his g tube which came out. So, his nurse was great, but the one who if a doctor replace the tube. I told them check is profile to see the size he used. Ok long story got home couldn’t feed him. Call back they said send someone to pick up the syringe. Granddaughter went and she was there waiting almost an hour. Wrong syringe they sent had to call the ambulance to take him back because it was the wrong g tube . Got there they placed him in a room not the ones with numbers but in a supply room with the medicine container. I will never go there and don’t recommend . My incident will take to long to give a complete review of the attitude of the nurse manager that handle the phone conversation and on arrival she hands me the tube not in a container

I had to take my husband here as an emergency. Within 5 minutes we were evaluated and brought back to a bed. The emergency room is beautiful, state of the art, brand new, with private rooms for each. I think our care was exceptional, although I have nothing to compare it to. Parking is extremely safe, and when I left in the evenings I felt safe getting to my car. I hope I never have to go to an emergency room again, but if I do, it will be here. The hospital doctors were great, and the nurses were top notch and explained everything they were going to do and answered all questions. We were there quite a while, they brought in dinner for him, and I am really happy we went there opposed to another hospital where we may have had to wait hours before being seen.
