I spent $3,000 on an oral appliance and it kept on breaking, it took about 3 years before I got an appliance that wouldn't break in my sleep. I finally had one follow up visit with a working mouthpiece and he tried to charge me, when the package I paid for was supposed to include office visits, I did have many office visits, but that's because I paid several thousand dollars for an appliance that kept on breaking after a few months.
