Rainbow Pediatrics - Dr. John Fernald

We’ve seen Dr fernald and his staff for over 10 years now, he’s been my oldest son’s pediatrician since month old. Highly recommend them! We love him and Beckie Ross! Anytime I call I’m fit right into the schedule, anytime I need something after hours I can message them and they help me out! My kids have grown attached to them and they’re treated just like family from everyone there! They take anything I say into consideration, any concerns or problems they help with it!

Every time I've taken my child, reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. Nurses are great, PAs, Nurse Practicioners, and Dr. Fernald all hear out any concerns and take us seriously. Office environment is bright and fun, with lots of animals on the walls. Exam tables are fun. Only suggestion for improvement is to get a new soap dispenser in the well visit side bathroom and maybe do something about that sink faucet. Wait time is generally quick. I usually can't update paperwork in time because they call us back quickly, which I appreciate. Toddler approves of available dum-dum suckers.

I’ve always had great experiences here, but this week really made me exceptionally grateful for this office. We’ve seen every provider here, and we love them all equally. This week, I made some decisions for my child’s health that I had been particularly nervous about, and most definitely racking my brain over. I’m grateful for Kelly and Beckie for their role in helping me make those decisions. Kelly listened so intently and patiently while I expressed my concerns. I never felt rushed, or silly for my concerns. She was so kind. She provided me with information for the next steps to take, and helped to get the process rolling amazingly fast. At the follow up, Beckie also listened with so much care and armed me with the information I needed to make a decision for treatment. She instantly que

We had a visit today with my daughter. I asked them if it was possible for us to hold off on her vaccines for a little while because she goes nowhere and I know that there’s a paper that you can sign that I can postpone them for a little while, and the doctor came in and kind of forced me into it and told me that if I did not get them that I would have to find a different pediatrician, but I did not know while I was there that you were not supposed to get vaccines while they are sick and gave them to her anyways I’m very upset and I will not be going back there.

When I was 12 I was going here and I was having pains in my side. Like severe stabbing pains. They refused to acknowledge it and just said it was “probably my feminine cycle”. Well a few months later I went to a different state with my father and it turned out there was a cyst on my ovary the size of a small basketball and my parents were told if it would’ve gotten taken care of sooner they wouldn’t have had to take one of my ovarys. Literal malpractice, don’t take older kids here. I’m still suffering till this day from that. (I’m almost 17 now btw, my mother’s review is somewhere in here)
