We've been bringing our pets here for 25+ yrs. Its a little bit on the pricey side, but what veterinarian isn't these days!? The staff here are very personable, knowledgeable and professional. When the visit is concluded, the Dr. explains everything in detail They're accommodating too, as we've had to "put down" a few of our larger dogs in the past and Dr. Kim actually came out to our vehicle to euthanize 'em, as opposed to us going through the stress & heartache of bringing 'em in, and then bk. out to load into the vehicle. Appointments have been pretty good, usually not waiting more than 10 min. to get into an examining rm. Ample parking in front & out back too.

Ragged Mountain Animal Hospital is truly exceptional. Dr. Shapiro and her staff show genuine compassion and always treat owners and pets with respect. Dr. Shapiro allows the time at each appointment to make certain she carefully listens to and addresses your concerns! The knowledge of all the staff is evident, and they seamlessly work together as a team. I feel so fortunate to have them caring for my precious dog Summer 🐾❤️!!!

The entire staff is amazing. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, you are treated with such kindness and warmth. The doctors are incredible. They took such good care of my baby. They put up with my many calls to confirm about 6 times how I was supposed to properly give my pup his medicine. They never once made me feel like a burden. Their compassion is outstanding. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else with my animals! Thank you guys for helping Camo!!

We recently moved to Plainville and were looking for a veterinarian for our newly adopted cat, Grey. What initially drew us to Ragged Mountain were the hundreds of positive reviews, and they were absolutely spot on! From the moment we stepped foot in the door, the staff was so welcoming and kind. Dr. Falbowski and her technician were extremely thorough, took the time to answer all of our questions, and made sure Grey was as comfortable as possible during his appointment. We are thrilled with the care we received at Ragged Mountain and know we made the right choice when looking for a veterinarian!

This place is amazing. We have a very high anxiety pit mix dog named Ted and he did so well here. The Dr was so sweet and took her time with him and us. The front desk came out to greet Ted and the technician was also so nice. It is obvious to me that everyone who works here sincerely loves animals. Today was our first visit and we are thrilled we found a great place that we trust to bring Ted.
