Rady Children’s Hospital - San Diego

I have been to Radys for my children a couple of times, but today the nurses doctors and orthopedic doctors went above and beyond. My son broke his arm they were so quick for X-ray, getting us in a room and just gentle and kind very good hearted staff. I had to come on here and RAVE about how wonderful they were! Even gave him a pain killer before we left because we have to drive 3 hours home. They were just flat out awesome!!

Our experience was overwhelmingly positive. Our child required urgent appendicitis surgery, and the surgical and OR team were absolutely outstanding. Their communication was clear, compassionate, and reassuring, which meant everything to our family during an incredibly stressful and emotional time. While ER wait times can naturally feel long and difficult when you’re worried about your child, once care began we felt completely confident and supported. The professionalism, kindness, and skill of the staff truly stood out. Post-operative care went smoothly, and everyone we encountered treated our family with genuine care and understanding. Rady Children’s Hospital provided outstanding care for my son during a very stressful time. He was transferred from another hospital due to difficulty swallowing, and from the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, compassionate, and professional. They acted quickly, ran the necessary tests, and were able to diagnose his issue promptly. The doctors and nurses took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my son was comfortable throughout the process. I’m extremely grateful for the level of care and expertise we received and highly recommend Rady Children’s Hospital.

I have never met a more dynamic group of providers, nurses, and staff. My child sustained an in injury at Legoland, and we are very far from our home. This experience was so much more than I could ever have expected. Exemplary staff, very very clean hospital, and compassionate beyond what I have the capacity to say with words. My child went through a traumatic experience that was made so much easier by Rady’s. I have never been more impressed by a hospital. Mary our night shift nurse on 1/10-1/11 was the most caring and understanding nurse I’ve met in a very long time. She will be nominated for a daisy as well as your critical care transport nurses and the RT was amazing as well. The staff is beyond impressive.
