I had an urgent ultrasound ordered for 2:00 and was worried I wouldn't be able to pick my son up for 3:00 from school. I got there 15 minutes before my appointment, registered and checked in, and had the procedure done by 2:30. Everyone from registration all the way to the end (4 employees) was so pleasant and professional. The ultrasound tech had such great bedside manner and made me smile. I so appreciate this! I was amazed at how smooth everything went. Good job, UVMMC!
I was really nervous about having a procedure during Covid-19; having to go by myself made it worse. However, the staff was wonderful. The ultrasound tech was amazing, and even held my hand to help me relax. The procedure turned out to be a piece of cake. I can't say enough and will always make the 3 hour drive to get the best of care.
Directly from UVM scheduling. They no longer call patients when their appointment is scheduled after prior authorization and has been scheduled. Have to check your mychart for messages about newly scheduled appointment. Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
Overall, efficient and friendly facility. Easy to navigate and a good waiting room space.
