I absolutely love Dr. Teng. She is very professional and at the same time very warm and friendly. I went to her for breast issues and within a few weeks my problem was taken care of. Dr Teng is very thorough and explains everything in plain English sometimes with drawings. I have had two surgeries done by her in the space of 8 weeks. Prior to each she has met with me and thoroughly explained all aspects of the surgery and body system involved. Prior to one surgery she was concerned about my ability to withstand the surgery, so she delayed it until all medical tests indicated I was able to have it. I appreciated very much her caution on my behalf. This is just one example of how Dr Teng treats you as a person. She is very positive, upbeat and inspires a well deserved sense of confidence in her. Finally found some time for giving Dr. Teng a review here. I recently received some surgery consultation from her due to a/some hernia(s), and everything went well. A far cry from disastrous Dr. K Miyata whom I was assigned and had originally seen me for same. Still can’t believe there was potentiality for any doctor to treat me like he had. Just now glad for Dr. Teng’s professionalism, and her willingness for satisfactorily providing me enough of what’s better about my medical care. Whatever the concern(s) is/are, just happy to recognize Dr. Teng for her help with my condition, care and treatment. Grateful to be more confident about sharing my reviews, recommendations and such. I was referred to this medical group by my primary care to a different provider but couldn’t get in with her soon enough so by the grace of GOD I was given an appt with DR Rachel Teng! What a blessing! Her bedside manner is so sincere and caring! She gives you all the time you need never rushing! She makes sure you understand you diagnosis and treatment plan! As for a surgeon I can’t say enough about her skills and knowledge! If I ever need a surgeon again the is no other option! If I could give more stars she would definitely get a 10! As for her staff Liz her scheduler is just as amazing! She jumps thru hoops to make sure things get done in a timely manner! She goes the extra mile and won’t give up!
