R. Christopher Harmon, MD, PhD

Dr Harmon is a kind, and caring doctor. He spent more time with me explaining test results, prognosis and ongoing treatment plan than any doctor in recent years. I felt he was very connected and compassionate. He made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend him. And I trust him.

Dr. HARMIN IS AMAZIMG. 40 years of pain..40 years. Then the last year I wasn't going to live in the pain I was in. Thankfully went to a Dr. In delta..Dr. Cole who sent me to Dr. Harmon. He looked and really heard me. Had me in surgery the next week. 2 surgeries later..which were 2 ercps and spincterotomys. He saved my life and made life worth living again. I am not 100 percent out of pain, but 90 percent and I am able to live a normal life. Thank you soooo much Dr. Harmon for listening and not acting like I was crazy like so many dr.s before you. My family thanks you..My children have never known me not in pain. Now my grandkids get the real me...

Best procedure Dr ever! For being a surgeon, he had excellent bedside manner, a fun sense of humor, a true listening and caring ear. When you say, "I refuse to take have a blood transfusion," he understands and never pushes to try to change your mind. He honestly just wants the best for his patients. I've never heard a single ill word spoken of him, nor has he ever spoken unkindly of any of his staff or patients. He is truly a shining example of a mentor. Thank you, Dr. Harmon for taking such good care of me for the last few years! (Sidenote: Please don't take your wife with you, as I cannot bare to lose both of you!)

Dr Harmon is great! He did an emergency procedure on me after I ended up at the ER. Then he did the follow-up procedure a month later and all great experiences. Great bedside manner and easy to talk to!

DR. Harmon made me feel very comfortable before my surgery, explaining the procedure and why it was being done. The team worked with me to solve the problem I had with not having anyone to "watch" me when I got home (I live alone). They used lighter anesthesia so I could go home without having to stay overnight. They also allowed me to rest for 2 additional hours in recovery. Making sure I was stable and awake/aware enough to go home. I still have one more procedure with Dr. Harmon in about 2 months. I Highly recommend Dr. Harmon and the team at Penrose St, Francis.
