QwikCareMD Urgent Care Center

Two weeks ago, I had to take my wife to QwikCareMD Urgent Care Center following her surgery, because she was experiencing nausea, dehydration, migraines, and other aftereffects that made her extremely sick. We got to the facility just before closing and were seen by Dr. Hernandez and MA Regina. They were not only friendly and professional, but were also very kind, empathetic and compassionate. They provided my wife with the needed care, which required some time, and were exceptionally attentive, up to her discharge. They even called in a billing specialist (Christyn) to help with the paperwork/processing. We are very thankful that Dr. Hernandez and MA Regina took us in and cared for my wife, and highly recommend QwikCareMD for urgent care services.

This urgent care came up under my Anthem Health Insurance. I sent my daughter there as she was feeling really unwell! They charged her $200 - yes my copay ! When I called they said NO WAIT TIME . My daughter did wait - 2 hrs to see someone who did not even check her VITALS !!! Do not go here ! I’m shocked ! What kind of Urgent Care does not even check vitals?

This place is very poorly run. I had an appointment in July and they overcharged me even though my co-pay for my insurance was only $40. They said it was their policy that they collect a higher charge upfront because they are an urgent care. I have called and emailed and submitted refund forms and have not gotten my $200 back this entire time. I can’t get a hold of anyone. I’ve even walked into the practice to try and get my refund and I’ve had no luck. This place is taking so much money. I can’t believe this is allowed to happen.

I have unfortunately had to come here twice since moving to Colorado. Both times the doctors, nurses, and front desk have been kind and attentive. They made me feel better and gave me peace of mind when I wasn’t feeling well. You can tell they really care about their patients.

I had a great experience! The staff was friendly and professional, and I was seen quickly. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and I felt comfortable throughout my visit. I highly recommend Qwik Care to anyone in need of urgent care services."
