QFC Pharmacy

The pharmacy phone menu is easily the most frustrating piece of crap I’ve ever encountered in my short 25 years on this earth. Let me talk to HUMAN BEING!

Very rarely is there a wait. Staff is courteous, professional and always takes the time to explain mew meds. They get an A plus in my book. They can also set you up with a great system for refills if you're busy that will send you a text or phone message when your prescription is ready. No need to keep track of it yourself anymore...unless you like to! Get your seasonal shots and traveling immunizations there too. Like I said, A plus service!

Prescription was phone in at 12:13. Automated system showed record of it at 4:30. No one in the pharmacy would answer my call. The store manager refused to provide any help other than transferring my cal for another worthless automated answer. When we physically went to the pharmacy, we were told they didn’t have the drug, but apparently felt no need to notify us. I will never go there for another prescription.

As a Licensed Midwife and Certified Profession Midwife, I sent my client to this QFC pharmacy to get her flu shot as recommended by the CDC guidelines for flu shots in pregnancy. The pharmacist turned her away because she was pregnant. When she said that her midwife recommended she get this vaccine, the pharmacist told her to "call an actual doctor." This was stressful and disparaging to my client. Whomever spoke with her clearly is uneducated about midwives scope of practice and licensure for advanced practice in Washington state and nation wide.

Fill meds on time. Able to get Covid vaccination. Masks required.Pharmacist Joe works hard to accommodate patrons. The frustration level is considerably less, because the job is done well. Fills and refills are done accurately - consistently. What a nice change.
