PURCELLVILLE PHARMACY

Super frustrated. My pediatrician sent a script. I try to call to see if it can be started. Left on hold for 10 minutes and I drive there before someone answered. Oh no problem.. So I went in and gave the name. They said it’ll be 20-25 minutes. I have 3 under 3 with me, they see this, ok no problem, I can wait. 15 minutes later, someone comes and tell me it’s a compound medication and it will be at least 24 hours to mix. Meanwhile, my child is miserable. All of the interactions were monotone and unapologetic. This was my first and last time here. I can understand that you are busy and slammed, but all of this could have been avoided with effective communication.

Hands down the best pharmacy in the area. I like to deal local when we can and they make it so easy. They are always nice, understanding, and help with pricing when they can.

Absolutely amazing staff. Everyone here hustles and remains respectful and cheerful. Not easy at ALL. I’ve seen some nastay customers. Keep it up pville pharmacy!

I miss my old pharmacy in Lansdowne. It was always reliable and proactive about ordering my prescriptions ahead of time, and I never once had an issue with availability. They would even text me a week in advance to let me know my medication would be ready. Unfortunately, this pharmacy has been a different experience. On two separate occasions in the past week, I’ve left work early to pick up my prescription, only to be told that I couldn’t get it yet because my insurance wouldn’t allow it until a later date. That part I completely understand—but what I don’t understand is why they didn’t just order it ahead of time once they told me the date I could pick it up. Instead, I was told again today that it wasn’t ready, and now I have to leave work early a third time just to come back tomorrow.

I do love this pharmacy but recently there have been problems getting medication and no call to let you know it’s your medication that’s out of stock. My medication was to be filled on 3/15/25 and it is now 3/19/25. I’m told it will be ready tomorrow as for my husband his medication still has not cone in and the dr. had to call in a different strength to get some of his need medication. I am sure it’s not the pharmacy’s fault but better customer service like in the past years would be nice.
