Punta Gorda Dental Care

I needed immediate care with a broken tooth on a Friday afternoon at 3:00. After several calls to other dental offices that told me they couldn’t take me until the following week, I contacted Punta Gorda Dental Care. They took me immediately and drilled down my tooth, fitted me for a permanent crown and placed a temporary crown on the tooth. Today I went back and they placed the permanent crown on my tooth and it fit perfectly! Very pleased with the service I received. The entire staff was very pleasant. I recently moved here from NY State and I now can say I have a dentist! Thank you Punta Gorda Dental Care!

Very good experience here. First time going because of needing to have a tooth pulled as soon as possible and they got me in the very next day. Dr. Chavez and Rob took very good care of me and was relatively painless. Will definitely be going back there for all of my dental needs.

They constantly mess up billing. My husband had his teeth cleaning here and paid for everything out of pocket because they messed up sending X-rays and charts to the insurance company. I’ve been getting texts and emails for months about a massive bill that I owe them. I have called. I have emailed trying to get them to charge the insurance like they’re supposed to. I spoke to one lady one time and she said she would call me if she had any questions. I’ve got nothing back, no answers, nothing. Except more texts and more emails saying I owe them a huge bill. They’re nice enough when you’re in there, which is why they got any stars from me at all. I’ve had enough with this office.

Dr. Chavez and everyone at Punta Gorda Dental Care are amazing!! In the past, I have had many bad experiences with many different dental practices, which ultimately led to severe anxiety/borderline panic attacks at the mere thought of walking into a dental office. But from the first moment meeting Dr Chavez, I felt an instant sense of comfort and warmth. She really made it a point to listen to and understand my concerns and past issues that led to my anxiety. She is very kind, compassionate, and gentle. And that feeling continued with everyone else I met there. The assistants, Amanda and B, are so kind and reassuring, doing everything they can to help keep me as calm, comfortable, and relaxed as possible.
