Publix Pharmacy on County Line

Writing this review to spotlight the pharmacy team who helped me on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, between about 12:30 and 6 PM. Janet, one of the technicians, truly went above and beyond for me. I’m very grateful for her kindness and effort. Nikki, another technician, was also incredibly nice and pleasant. The male pharmacy manager on duty at the time helped move my prescriptions through quickly during a tough situation, which meant a lot. I’m super appreciative of the whole team for their help on what was a really rough day.

I've had very good experiences with the pharmacists at this location. They've helped me navigate complicated insurance issues and are timely with fulfilling my prescriptions, and if they don't have my rx in stock they've helped me transfer to another location same day. I've been with this location over a year and sticking with them for sure!

This store pharmacist Michael York makes up his own rules. Even though Florida law/state regulations is you can pick up an RX of a controlled substance within 28 days of last fill, and publix also says this, he refuses to refill it till 29 days even if 29 days falls on a Sunday where they have reduced hours. He has no regard for patient care. If you tell him you are calling corporate, he just says OK and hangs up.

I’ve used this pharmacy for some time since moving back to the area. They started off okay and then abruptly got worse. Calling ahead is a pointless task, they will not communicate with you about the status of your refills unless you verbally tell them that you’d like to subscribe to their text services. Service provided by the techs are either hit or miss. If you need your medications filled in a timely manner you’d be best to take your business elsewhere.

I contacted the Publix Pharmacy on County Line Rd to inquire whether they could fill my son's prescription for a controlled substance, as there has been a shortage. The doctor's office advised me to check with the pharmacy directly. However, the pharmacy informed me that they cannot provide that information over the phone and that the doctor would need to call to confirm if they can fill the prescription. In the past, we've never had an issue calling to check if a prescription could be filled. When I reviewed their policy, it stated that this information is generally not accurate. While pharmacies, including Publix, cannot disclose detailed stock information about a specific prescription due to privacy concerns, they can typically confirm if they have a particular medication in stock when
