Publix Pharmacy at Winter Haven Square

Rude employees. I needed a script that they said they couldn’t fill until the next day. I call another pharmacy to fill it, they were more than happy to. They called the manager here and she said she can fill it tonight. I call back and the lady gives me an attitude saying “if you needed it tonight, you could have said so.” I’m sorry, what? If you have the medication in stock then you should fill it not tell your patients THE NEXT day. It’s not my fault you lack empathy. I said okay and hung up and asked the next pharmacy. I’m not going to tell you to fill it tonight when you told me you didn’t have it readily available. What kind of pharmacy techs do you have working here? This is Walmart behavior. Good thing the Publix is Lake Wales is closer.

They're always fast filling my scripts, knowledgeable (often more knowledgeable than my doctors office, sad to say) and very friendly

The pharmacy at this location is full of it, my daughter is out of Adderall 10 mg, the lowest possible dose of ADHD medicine that there is, and this pharmacy said they cannot fill that medication because my daughter doesn’t get any other medications filled at that store, she does get her medicine filled at Publix by her school and they are out of the Adderall 10 mg. I have been filling medication at Publix for many years and have to travel for work and I have always been able to fill my medication wherever I am in the state of Florida. My daughter is in Orlando at college, the Publix that she goes to is out of the medication and told her to call other stores. Two other stores said they were out of stock and this store makes up some unbelievable lie that they can’t fill it because she doesn

They have ALWAYS taken care of me. Rather is be cheaper under my insurance or cash, or GoodRx, they do it. I can't say how much I appreciate them.

Best in town. Friendly, know what they're doing, have a sense of urgency to get you in and out of the store which is very important. Always answers the phone in quick fashion. A full-service pharmacy inside of Publix. Avoid the pharmacist with long hair, real attitude problem.
