Publix Pharmacy at Winston Park Center

I would not even consider going anywhere else....I love how helpful and patient Mitch and Shanta, and all the others that work at this location. So easy to work with.

I am reading these negative reviews and I have to wonder if everyone's going to the same Publix. I've been going to this Publix pharmacy for years. I am 63 years old and I have NEVER been helped with more empathy and more caring than by Mitch & Shanta. Mitch has called me on several occasions to notify me of problems with prescriptions or when there is medical information I need to know (and this is without me asking him to do so.) Over the years, I've been to the pharmacies at Walgreens, CVS, and even other Publix. Mitch and Shanta are the best. I have to disagree with the negative reviewers. If I may use a well-worn (but true) adage, when you treat someone with respect, they will (most of the time) return that respect. Perhaps that is why I am treated well... I respect my pharmacists!

Good Publix as they all are all around. But I’ve noticed there’s always one aisle without a bagger! Even though tonight was New Year’s Eve and their parking lot was full. Every night after the gym over the last few months when’s it’s busy; only 1 or 2 of the register workers have someone to bag for them! Tonight, close to new years, I came in and got into a checkout aisle. I looked over and one had a nice bagger employee! And they were moving faster: But not mine. And I have patience but felt more for the register with worker who had been pushing without it. There was an elderly couple in front of me with a lot of groceries and they tried to help bag their own stuff but could not keep up. God bless them. So we all waited. Don't make the mistake of bringing a child here to get vaccinated. The person administering the vaccine was Mitch. He clearly is not trained in being patient and understanding of a scared 6 year old not wanting a shot. Every time my child cried, he would say things like" are you getting it or not? I have other people waiting". The last straw was when he looked at coworkers, smirked and rolled his eyes. How insensitive can you be. This is a child! Shame on you Mitch! 😡No way we were going to allow you to give him a shot after this. On a good note, a super nice lady from the bakery went out of her way to help keep him calm the whole time. I've been going to this Publix pharmacy for years and the staff are great. Mitch has bent over backwards making sure I'm cared for on several occasions. I trust him with my healthcare pharmaceutical needs as he is definitely a professional that knows his job. He has even given me vaccinations. I personally don't want to go anywhere else.
