Publix Pharmacy at Town and Country Square

I have been using this Publix pharmacy since it opened. This is a very busy pharmacy. They go above and beyond to take great care of their customers. April is my go to girl. She knows my name and helps me with all our family needs. You all are the best! Thank you!

Today I had the worst experience with a pharmacy employee at this location; I work as a pharmacy technician in the emergency room of a hospital in Lakeland, today one of our patients was admitted in critical condition and we needed to know what medications the patient had received from this pharmacy; The employee who answered the phone (around 11:50am), who didn't even identify himself, in the most unprofessional and rude manner, told me to call back in 3 hours and when I tried to explain the situation, he replied "I gotta go" and immediately hung up on me. The second time I called from my personal cellphone and the same person answered again with the same attitude and proceeded to leave me on hold. Several minutes later, he was able to help me but always with the worst attitude possible.

The staff at Town and Country have Most of myalways gone above and beyond to help when there is a problem. For those of you that gave bad reviews, you must have hit on a really bad day. I have been using them since the store opened originally and have never had a serious problem. Most of the problems are created by the providers or insurance companies. The staff still has dug in their heals and got it taken care of. Come on, give credit where credit is do. April, Dolly, Marissa, Orlando, they all deserve credit. That a very busy store for an over populated area. If you think you can do a better job, you should apply. Publix is always looking for good people.

I have NEVER had a problem with this pharmacy! I have a few maintenance meds and have them on auto-fill. They fill them on-time and then text me that they are ready for pickup. I brought my daughter's rxs in from CVS and they transferred them in and filled them when they were due without me having to call! Sooo much better than cvs or walgreens that I will never go back!!

They absolutely suck at this pharmacy. I really love Publix but I'm about to switch to a different pharmacy. Every single time I have a prescription to fill there is ALWAYS a problem!!! Either waiting(sometimes all day), having to have Dr send again, not having meds in stock, not putting meds IN THE BAG AFTER I PAY FOR THEM! Get all the way home and have to turn around and come back just for them to tell me they did put them in bag... Come on! I'm not trying to abuse my kids allergy meds🤦🏼‍♀️
