Publix Pharmacy at The Shoppes at Freeport

Sorry to leave a bad review but this needs to get the attention of upper management. I call just before 2pm from the urgent care place to verify they received my pain medicine prescription. Was told they will have it ready in about an hour to hour and a half. Two hours later I drive myself to Publix in a lot of pain just to be told they don’t have it in stock and I will have to wait until tomorrow. What’s the point in calling to verify the prescription? Then they offer to send the prescription to Destin where it is in stock… just an about 10 minutes drive from the urgent care I visited earlier today. Totally unacceptable. I don’t mind the 3-5 days I wait for my regular medication refills but pain medicine is something you need in the moment, not tomorrow or couple of days from today. If i

I've never had a bad experience at this Pharmacy even with all my mess-ups and issues! I don't know why the rating isn't higher on here. They are great we're very supportive when I was going through a major health issue.

I had recently moved to Freeport and tend to use the pick up grocery option because I am have seizures. It is such a stress relief for my family and we couldn’t be more appreciative of this Publix Team. I am always met with a cheerful and helpful person. Great job to all employees and I hope Publix knows how hard you work.

Find another place to fill your prescription medication. To busy, chaotic, 3 days to fill a standard prescription is to long. Trying to recommend flu, tetanus shots when you just filled a prescription for antibiotics and steroids, knowing the person is already sick.

DON'T USE THIS PHARMACY!!!! I called for 3 prescriptions yesterday said they would be ready today. Called this morning said they were working on them, this was 9:30AM. I drive over 3:00 today and was told one would be ready in an hour and the other two would be in tomorrow......I'm sure they don't get deliveries on Saturdays. Another time I was told my asthma medication would be in, and belive it or not it took 5 DAYS to come in. Aftet I pick up my current medications I will be going elsewhere. They lie about working on the prescription and six hours later get the same story they're working on one and would be ready in an hour when they told me in the morning they were already working on THEM. I think the entire staff is incompetent and liars.
