Publix Pharmacy at The Market at Mirada

Consistently out of medication’s because they are relying on the technicians to keep track for reorders as opposed to Sonny the pharmacist actually doing his job accurately. Same pharmacist Couldn’t handle the pharmacy operation at innovation Springs Wesley Chapel and he can’t handle it at the Publix Market in San Antonio. Enjoy your occupation by corporate.

The Mirada Publix pharmacy has a new pharmacist/manager, and, IMO, he has to be the worst of the candidates Publix had to choose from. Before this new manager, Ryan Barnhardt, (name on receipt) I was very impressed with the pharmacy at the Mirada location. Today, I had the unfortunate experience speaking with this so-called pharmacist. He is the most arrogant, ignorant and rude person that I have ever met at Publix. After I told him that I had received a text from the pharmacy saying that my RX was ready for pick-up last week, he made excuses that it just meant it was in for preparation. Even when my husband showed him the text on the phone, this so-called pharmacist still lacked the comprehension skill to understand what his clerks wrote. I never had a problem at Sam's Club in over

THIS IS A SHOUT OUT to the Pharmacy team - At 57 years old, I have dealt with MANY pharmacies - These guys are hands down the best - Especially Henry - He is ALWAYS polite, respectful, has a can do attitude, professional and fast - It's not just him, it's the entire team - A huge thank you - Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and are GREATLY appreciated - Thank you Team!

Update: This has been an unfortunate ongoing issue I’ve had with this Publix Pharmacy.. it’s too much to elaborate by any means- it’s not about my medication. (Which they barely have half the time but I got it- thank God!) It’s about the customer service. It’s about how you treat people and hear people. No one deserves to be disrespected, discriminated against in any matter, or feel unheard. It’s about our health care, yes. But it’s also about being treated respectfully and professionally that matters where I give my business as well.

Sadly I have to put one star but if I could it would be none at all. More so towards the pharmacy. Their pharmacy tech, Dawn, is rude and ignorant. So humiliating to be asked why I am taking a certain prescription, if it was for “weight loss or real issues”. It wasn’t only what was said, it was how it was said. Prior to going, I was told they didn’t have my prescription, until having to explain my reasoning for my dosage and prescriptions. I think it was really insulting. And have partially felt discriminated against because this was not the first time. They need to train or find better techs.
