Publix Pharmacy at Surfside

I don’t know her name but she worked 11/29 approx 3:29pm. She answered the phone I don’t think she was a pharmacist. She answered I explained I wanted to request a refill she asked for my DOB I gave it to her and she asked to put me in hold. I waited for about 5 minutes before hanging up and calling back. I thought she put me on hold because there was a line at the counter which is normal. I guess she recognized the number and just answered by saying she checked thoroughly our system and no prescriptions have been sent by my doctor. I said ok well you didn’t let me finish talking I said I have a prescription number she said ok I gave it to her she still didn’t find anything but throughout the conversation she was so rude that I just ended up saying ok I’ll have my doctors office reach out

Lisa is very efficient. But she's got to be more patient and work in her social skills. Lisa you can do it. Thank you !!

PHARMACY Disappointing experience at this pharmacy. Today, I had a frustrating experience at the pharmacy. I urgently needed five medications, but none were provided. The female pharmacist (the first time I saw her there) was unhelpful, and despite my pressing need, the service was slow and disorganized. This lack of efficiency is unacceptable, especially for those who rely on timely access to their prescriptions. Always the service leaves much to be desired, especially for elderly customers. Only PAUL solves the situations with the insurance, prescripciones, providers and he has the reffils ready for pick up. I think he would have more efficient people working with him.

My family and I are incredibly grateful for pharmacists Marion and Paul. We have been loyal customers at this Publix for over a decade. Since Paul became the pharmacist at the Surfside location, and Marion followed, they have consistently gone above and beyond to assist not just me, but also my parents and the rest of my family. Their kindness, patience, and courtesy, among other positive attributes, are evident in every interaction. I have witnessed firsthand how they treat everyone with the same level of care. It is because of Marion and Paul that we keep coming back. I hope that Publix recognizes how fortunate they are to have pharmacists of such high caliber.

Let's just say Paul and Marion are under the radar of the Florida Board of Pharmacy. I still can't believe till this day that they denied me my meds and lied to me about it being "out of stock". After speaking to the director of Publix pharmacies, it was confirmed that they gave me false information and wrongfully denied me access to my meds. Next step is legal action. They deserve to be stripped of their licenses.
