Publix Pharmacy at Southgate Shopping Center

I will NEVER ever come to this pharmacy again and I would strongly urge everyone else to do the same. The pharmacist had the audacity to ask me why is it that I need "6" low dose diazepam pills that was prescribed by "MY" dentist..... OBVIOUSLY there is freaking reason that is none of his dang business !!!! I had to explain to MR. NOSEY who was going to REFUSE to fill my medicine that am scheduled to do a root canal within the hour with the paperwork in hand might I add AND !!!!! I am scheduled to do multiple follow up sessions for other root canals and crowns. I could 100% see the concern if it was an outrageous amount like 40 or something and I'm a "new patient" but really 6 dude???? The only reason I had to stop here was because CVS was closed for their lunch period and there were over

I’d like management to know how wonderful the pharmacy staff is! Everyone has been so helpful with my 95 y/o Dad get his meds transferred. Valerie was amazing last weekend when Southgate didn’t have an item prescribed, she found it at a different pharmacy. She called me personally to get the information I needed. I’m very grateful for the Southgate Publix pharmacy, they go the extra mile for their customers.

A group of us came in for our flu shots and Crystal was amazing! She was so kind and excited to get them done for us! She’s also really good at doing them because I didn’t even feel it! Thank you Crystal!!

I'm not sure why everyone raves about this Publix pharmacies. Most publix pharmacy associates are not exactly very helpful, friendly, or even polite. Most store associates at Southgate are nice and helpful, but not in the pharmacy. Also, don't know why, but I feel you always have to wait a long time to get your prescriptions. Cleveland Heights Pharmacy is still the best pharmacy in town in my opinion.

Used to be very good and very efficient but no more, delivery service it's not working the way it used to be, for example I use trulicity in monthly basis anytime I call for a refill the pharmacist said that they don't know when they want to be ready with this because they has to order it, but in another pharmacy that I asked for this they not just have it but advise me that it was difficult to find lately so that I need to call 2 or 3 days in advance and they will have it on the day that I need it, so I call it yesterday and they will have it tomorrow that is two days in advance, I did the same with Publix at Southgate and they told me that I have to wait until the expiration date to call and then they will order it with means I'm going to be at least three or four days late off the day
