Publix Pharmacy at Shoppes of Lake Village

My wife and I have been coming to this pharmacy for the last 2 years. The staff used to be wonderful. Now they’re just awful. The staff is always so rude, talks down to you. Today at 615pm I asked the woman at the register why it always takes so long to get a prescription that was sent in around 11am. She said that’s how it is, we’re actually 3 days behind. No apology. I told her that was not my problem . It sounds like a management issue. Now I have to wait until tomorrow for my prescription. My wife and I will definitely be going to another pharmacy.

Technicians are just older and stuck in their ways. I called in the morning when the pharmacy opens to see When my medication will be ready, someone told me an hour I came in at 11:30 AM in my prescription still not ready and I was told a hour again. No one is filling Prescriptions . The pharmacist is putting up orders there’s maybe one technician typing. The other technician is just walking around telling people to wait on prescriptions in doing other things. there is no workflow don’t understand why my medication could not be filled in a timely manner. The technicians are rude and slow working. The pharmacy can do better. There’s a long line after 30 minutes of no filling And people wonder why their medications are not ready.

UPDATE! The staff here is still amazing, but now unfortunately they are completely UNDERSTAFFED! Maybe the CEO can take some of the $2MILLION in base salary or the $343K in bonuses, or even the $173k they take home in other compensation and pay the hard working people who make Publix successful. Good employees can make you or break you, keep the good ones, find more good ones and treat them well. So many good ones have left.. Still great staff, but totally overworked because shortage of help...

Pharmacy tech Jackson had the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a pharmacy. So attentive, thorough & polite. Really refreshing. Thank you Jackson!
