Publix Pharmacy at Shoppes at RiverTown

I have had nothing but positive interactions every time I’ve used this pharmacy. They have consistently been helpful with everyday prescriptions and navigating insurance changes. The most recent experience is what truly prompted me to write this review. After an ED visit, we were prescribed multiple medications, some of which had known interactions with existing prescriptions. Unfortunately, we felt somewhat dismissed in the ED. However, the pharmacist at Publix took the time to carefully review each medication, explain how to take them properly, and clearly identify which ones should not be taken together. I deeply appreciated the thorough yet concise explanation and the genuine care taken to ensure safety. This level of attention and professionalism made a stressful situation much easi

Terrible service and not willing to help, bad attitude. I went there with my family for simple flu shots based on my appointment. And this lady asked to wait for 20mins , later she is not able to read my insurance card, says some info missing. Making us feel that we are asking something for free. In the end they are not able to give us flu shots because she is incapable of reading a insurance card. Will never go there again

**DISABLED VETERAN REVIEW** I WISH I COULD GIVE “ZERO STARS” ** THE RUDEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL PHARMACY IN ALL OF ST JOHNS COUNTY AND JACKSONVILLE!! THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT ANY PHARMACY IN THE LAST 15years I’VE LIVED HERE. I used the Publix App LAST WEEK TO REQUEST MY REFILL AND PUBLIX WAITED UNTIL 934AM, THE MORNING BEFORE I NEED MY MEDICINE TO CALL ME AND SAY ITS ON BACK ORDER, NEGATIVELY IMPACTING MY HEALTH. 1. STEREOTYPE CUSTOMERS- treated me like a DRUG ADDICT instead of a person just trying to pick up medication prescribed by a DOCTOR. The medicine I get doesn’t even come with the euphoria effects, it’s the opposite, no effects. A) Every month my doctor had to call this pharmacy to make sure I got my medicine, after being told by the Pharmacist it’s too early, my insurance

Publix Pharmacy at Rivertown is amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly & helpful staff who go above & beyond on a regular basis. I've had concerns about certain prescriptions of mine running out and not being notified (I'm looking at you, CVS on 13) but that is not a concern here. There's a high level of transparency and communication and I've been really happy with all of the interactions I've had there.

Reaching the point where I'm considering changing pharmacies. Meds are never refilled on time and I'm sick of catching attitude when I call to ask for an update. Last time they said they needed to call my doctor because I should still have pills left and at my follow up the provider said they were never contacted. Waiting again because now they say they never got a prescription and hoping I don't hit withdrawals from cold turkey dropping my meds for 2 weeks every cycle.
