Publix Pharmacy at Poplar Springs Plaza

I used the app to refill a prescription. I notice the next day it shows it is still in process. I call the store because I make a special trip specifically for my prescriptions. The person who answered said my prescription could not be filled until Saturday. I get on the app Saturday and it still show in process . I call again and the tell me I can’t get it until Sunday. I call Sunday around 11:30 to see if it was ready, the same extremely rude lady said, “do you have the pharmacy app”, I said “yes, I sure do and it still indicates in still in process…..she rudely asks my name and dob. She then says, well you requested it after 3:00 pm, to which I explained that I had requested that on Thursday when I re ordered it thinking I could get it Friday. I usually really like Publix pharmacy but this place has been dropping the ball lately. Ahead of the winter storm I called to make sure my prescriptions would be ready by the time I got to Publix. On the phone I was told that they would be ready at 4:30, I got there at 6:30 and was told I needed to wait another 30 minutes. Me and my child go back to the car to wait, when we go back in I'm told I have to wait just a few more minutes. By this point I can't wait any longer because I have to pick up my husband from work. So now I will be without my medication for an entire weekend, ridiculous.

This pharmacy is fantastic. I always have a great experience when I go into get my medicine. These ladies deserve a raise for the great service they provide.

I've been shopping at this Publix since October 2023. I stopped in this morning to pick up a few things, which prompted me to write this review. As I walked back to the seafood/meat area, I was greeted by a handful of employees. I truly appreicate this! Your employees seem happy and it reflects on the service. I love that there are actually people behind "The Counter" preparing food. You really do feel like you're in your local meat market. The in-store experience is just about perfect - it's super clean and most items are well stocked. I downloaded the Publix app and I'm able to plan out my shopping trips. I absolutely love Publix and the variety of things they offer in their grocery section. The pharmacy has been great for me and my family for the past several years. I miss Nick the pharmacist since he retired but the new pharmacist are great too. The techs and pharmacists know me by name when I arrive at the counter, rare in this day and age, but much appreciated! Thanks for taking care of me and my family!
