Publix Pharmacy at Polo Grounds Mall

Extremely disappointed with the pharmacy staff at this Publix. A staff member named Lizzy refused to process my savings card and told me to contact my provider after 5 PM, knowing that offices are closed. When my ARNP offered to give a verbal authorization, Lizzy refused to accept it and insisted the provider call the pharmacy which went straight to voicemail, exactly as expected. She also made an inappropriate comment about me being sick and implied my condition was “highly contagious,” which was unprofessional and insensitive. I was forced to pick up my own medication while ill and still left unsure whether it would even be filled. Nothing like Pub-sub for lunch or dinner; BUT! When you want some fish grab their $5 sushi on Wednesdays. I also got the sushi bowl which hit the spot. Nice little lunch date with the missus!

Worst daily experience I have ever had trying to simply get a sub without the ingredients on the bread because I had a distance to travel and I didn’t want the bread to become soggy. They couldn’t sell it to me like that. They wanted to sell me a salad and wanted me to pay, separate for the meat . Crazy

The pharmacy team at Publix on the corner of Summit Boulevard and Military Trail in West Palm Beach are nothing short of amazing. They go above and beyond to ensure clients needs are met. I imagine there are hundreds of patrons they serve yet they make you feel that personal connection. I have observed the many times with a very diverse population treating all with dignity and respect. This month, I myself had an issue with a coupon code. They could have very easily said, oh well, the coupon doesn't work, but they didnt. They made sure to try every avenue. In the end, it did work out, but even if it hadn't, I would have known every effort to help was made. Thank you Publix Pharmacy for your professionalism!

Very poor communication. Wrong information given out to patient. Was not informed other medications were over the counter. Was told a prior auth was needed i contacted my insurance who said a prior auth was not needed and called the pharamcy to let them know. I've never used this publix pharmacy and wont be using it again. Their disregard for the patient's well being is unreal.
