Publix Pharmacy at Plant City Crossing

Terrible. Been waiting on my meds for over a month because they told me it was on back order. Figure my surprise when the cheery voice on the phone said that they stopped carrying it all together. When I asked why I never got a heads up about this? She offered to call my doctor or said I was welcome to find another pharmacy. Which i will gladly be doing. Obviously I cant trust them to call my doctor if they couldn't even be honest with me about the "back order"

I paid for my prescriptions online and came to pick them up. The woman asked me if I had a question. I said no. She asked if I was there to pick up. I said yes (thinking “Am I not in the right place?” I double checked and yes I was standing right in front of the sign on the counter) she points to a spot a foot over. Really, lady? Are we seriously doing this? I understand pharmacists get treated poorly. That’s absolutely no reason to take it out on other people who are just trying to get through life. Do better.

I came in to drop a prescription for the first time I was not welcomed or even acknowledged the script was snatched away from me by Lauren and taken strictly to the pharmacist. Made me feel like I was doing something inappropriate she was rude and condescending! I asked her should I take this to a different pharmacy I was told sure go ahead. Very inappropriate behavior! I left without filling my medication Do better Publix!

I just went to drop Off my rx I told the short brown haired women that I haven’t had these meds in two days and I really need them. She said 3 hours. I said well I’ll have to wait in my car again I haven’t had them. That’s all I said I didn’t really make a big deal out of it. She then looked at me like I’m Crazy before this she was loudly complaining how weekend customers are way better than weekday customers. That weekday customers are a pain blah blah blah. I don’t know I just thought being in medical you would try and help and not look at me like I’m Crazy. I’m in the medical Field and the first thing I would have done was went to the pharmacist and asked if there was any way she can get them earlier as she’s been without them.

Seems like they forget about prescriptions often. Have been here several times and have been told " it will be ready in an hour" and regularly I am left waiting to pick up my prescription for over an hour. Most recently I had a prescription sent at 10 a.m by 11:30, I was still told it would be an hour and a half. When I came back at 6:30 that same day, only 2/3 of the prescriptions needed were filled, and I was informed it would take ANOTHER 15 minutes to have it done. Personally this is ridiculous, if you need 5+ hours, or a couple days to fill a prescription, say that from the start, don't tell people it'll be ready in an hour when it won't be.
