Publix Pharmacy at Panama City Centre

I was given the wrong medication with the correct label attached to the bag. When I realized what happened and drove all the way back up there, because lets be real no one will ever answer the phone, the tech acted like it was my fault. After she spoke quite rudely to me, she asked if I wanted to keep the medicine I had already taken home! It Seems like no one working there knows anything about Florida Laws and the pharmacist just ignores everything happening around them. Everyone needs to be sent back through training and also taught how a little customer service can go a long way. Do not trust this pharmacy. Very sad.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this pharmacy was very frustrating. The staff seemed disorganized and not particularly friendly. I never received a call or text update about the delay. When I called to check on it, I was placed on hold for nearly 15 minutes, only to be told they were “my insurance needed PA.” It didn’t go thru my insurance only a discount card. Which Lynn haven pharmacy never had a problem with this. . Pharmacies are supposed to make patients feel cared for and confident in their prescriptions — unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. I’ll be switching to a different location that values better communication and customer service.

I have always had a great experience with this pharmacy. The pharmacists are extremely helpful and polite as are all the associates I've encountered. So thankful for the convenient location and fast service

I’ve been on my prescription long enough to have bounced between a few pharmacies by now so when I say this one is probably the nicest one with the least amount of hassle I mean it. The subject of my prescription is a rather personal topic so I’ve gotten used to that “look” someone gives you when they see what it is they are handing you but I don’t get any treatment like that here. Not only have the staff been pleasant and professional in all my interactions but I’ve also found them to be quick and efficient. Even if there’s a line they are able to handle it at a reasonable pace so I’m not stuck shuffling in place for half an hour. Overall, I’ve switched many times in the past but unless my doctor recommends otherwise I’ll be happy sticking with this one.

I was prescribed an antibiotic and after a few times of taking it I noticed I was having some unusual side effects. I called and spoke to the pharmacist for some advice and she quickly dismissed me and said the side effects were because my body was fighting an infection. I quickly found a second opinion and found out that I was having an allergic reaction to the medication I was taking. Had I listened to her poor advice I would still be taking the medication that I was allergic to.
