Publix Pharmacy at Northwood Crossings

Leaving bad reviews for a business is not my style and I usually cringe at people who leave them, but the experience here impacted the health and safety of a beloved dog family member. The communication between techs/pharmacists and to the people they’re serving was very lacking as far as my experience over two days, two visits, and 4 phone calls. My pet had an urgent need for the medicine he was prescribed and there was a delay, which was understandable. But after that delay, I called to see if I needed to make other arrangements to get him his needed medicine and a pharmacist or tech told me directly that they DID have the medication and they would fill within hours. I depended on that information being true. It wasn’t true and I wasn’t notified. If they had given the correct information

Great pharmacy...never had any problems with them... highly recommended

I am really shocked by the negative reviews. Yes, about a year or so ago, there was one pharmacy tech that was quite rude but she is no longer there. All of the pharmacy techs have been very helpful and very friendly. One person mentioned Malaysia. I have never had a problem with her (maybe she was having a bad day or something). I have been a customer over there for years and years and I have only had a bad experience with one person. Yes, there have been times that they have not been able to get my medications. I do use the texting option (they text you when your prescription is ready) and I do use the Publix Pharmacy app (which that I would only give about 2 stars). Absolutely terrible! If I could give zero stars, I would. It shouldn't take 5+ hours to fill a prescription. Staff was so incredibly rude! They claimed they had no record of my Rx. It had been called in 5 hours earlier from the doctor. Turns out, they had not checked their voice-mail in over 5 hours. They told me to come back in 30 minutes. I came back 40 minutes later, and it still was not ready. No one apologized. They acted like it was my fault. Terrible customer service!
