Publix Pharmacy at Northgate Mall

Extremely friendly and helpful staff that have gone the extra mile for me when needed. Between this and the generally lower price of medication compared to the pharmacy I switched from, I am happy to recommend this Publix pharmacy.

Coming from someone who has worked in retail and hospital pharmacy for over a decade, I have been completely heartbroken by this pharmacy. I am the first person to understand being short staffed and dealing with patients who are not easy - but I have never had a good experience at this location. The lack of empathy and communication is genuinely disappointing. I opted to have my prescriptions sent here instead of Walgreens because this is our preferred grocery store. I wanted to drive in from Murfreesboro and make one stop before going home with unbearable tooth pain. Unfortunately, an antibiotic and pain med didn’t seem urgent to them, and I was told it would be an additional 45 minutes for the antibiotic only. Seeing as I had been in tears from the pain I could not wait another 45 minute

Very nice personnel. I changed from Walgreens to here due to the folks being so helpful and nice! What a pleasant change. They are very helpful and willing to go a little over to help you. Medications seem to be a bit cheaper and they will work with other programs like GoodrX and manufactures savings cards without an issue.

Pharmacist literally tries to play gatekeeper when my prescription was called in by a physician. My doctor called back multiple times regarding the prescription and the pharmacist still says “we are waiting on the doctor to call.” After I advised my doctor has already followed up more than once I then questioned to ask what the problem was with filling the prescription, the pharmacist then responded: “Well, it’s on back order so we cannot order it.”. Denying someone their prescription because you feel like it, is unacceptable.

They are getting ridiculous they fill presciptions that I don't call in when I call in one presciption every month which is a pain medication the dr sends it days before it is due so the day it is due there should be no reason why I have to call to have it filled then they tell me it will be ready in an hr well almost 2 hrs later it's still not ready I am getting fed up I had to change to publix a few yrs ago because walgreens was no longer on my insurance at first publix was great then after awhile they got slack
