Publix Pharmacy at Milstead Crossing

I love the technicians that work at the pharmacy..they are always nice.helpful..and never get frustrated with me.i ask a lot of questions and answer me smiling thank you all!!

I have recently started a new prescription for a medication that SHOULD be refrigerated. I WAS NOT told that when I picked up the new prescription. Why in the world wouldn't the pharmacist tell me that? Especially given the fact I know I told him this was a new medication and I did ask if I needed to take it with food or not when I initially picked up the first doses of the medication. He should have told me then. Thank God a coworker knows I'm taking it and asked me if I was keeping it in the refrigerator. I just so happen to stop by and pick up a different prescription and I asked about it and the same guy did tell me my coworker was right and that I did need to keep it inside the fridge and that I now have to throw away the last dose of the medication now because I can't use it. Despite the difficult nature of insurance, medication shortages, and shipping problems that are always true, the staff at this pharmacy have eased the struggle. They do an exceptional job and I've had a pharmacist order medicine for me twice. They are always open and honest about possible issues, which I really appreciate. If a medicine might not come in, I need to have a backup plan, and everyone at this publix is so understanding of that. I really appreciate all the work they do to make the process easy for the customer.

Always pleasant and professional. Lately I've only been able to to a partial refill on one of my medications but that's because I get a large amount the the staff always try to help I LOVE THESE PEOPLE AND THIS PLACE!! I'm a cancer patient and a diabetic so I'm there often, still they follow all protocols when identifying me even though they know who I am. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

Clinic calls in the prescriptions and I am physically there and hear what was said. 5 hrs later my husband goes in there and said they don’t have any prescriptions for me. I call the clinic and the clinic comes back on and said the pharmacist will check it when she has time. What? Still waiting for my prescriptions. Worst!!!!
