Dropped off my sons prescription for MAGIC MOUTHWASH this morning at 930… was told it would be a few hours I said it’s fine I’ll come back later… 430 rolls around and I’ve not heard anything so I called.. the male older gentleman is RUDE first of all.. he told me that they had to call the office to get clarification.. I said why wasn’t I notified before now so I could get in contact with them? He said well even now if they sent the prescription in, you’d have to go to a compounding pharmacy.. 1. Why wasn’t I told that this morning? 2- I’ve been a certified pharmacy technician for 26 years… you mean to tell me you can’t mix LIQUID BENADRYL, NYSTATIN AND LIDOCAINE there?!? Don’t get mad because I questioned why you didn’t notify me when my son has been in pain waiting for this medicine.. her

Everyone is going to have good and bad days, please bare that in mind when interacting with people. That being said I have been to the pharmacy in need of emergency refills and they have always done everything that they can to help. The team there has your best interests at heart!

Was just left on hold for 9 minutes and then hung up on. Been trying to get them to refill medicine I called in two days ago. Called this morning told it would be filled. It is now almost 3:30pm. The gentleman who left me on hold is flamboyant (which is fine by me i just want any managers reading this to know who it was) and the old woman who works there is rude. If it weren't for the complete lack of options in this area id be going somewhere else.

Update July 2025 new: Zack and Anna, Maria are my Pharmacy Techs! Love them... Dusty and others are nice too. Drawback... texts when prescription is filled is not up to par and we have to call to see if meds have been filled. Some problems have been with our doctors, so ... we both switched Primary Care Docs to help! So far, so good! Recently, Maria and Anna are so sweet at the front! Thank you! Old review... Publix is my pharmacy....... Another pharmacy claimed to have sent 2 requests within 2.5 hours to this Publix for a transferred prescription, but there system did not see either request. (Publix had asked me to have another pharmacy ask them to transfer my prescription since they did not have it in stock, unfortunately.) A total of 4 phone calls later to 3 pharmacies, and my husband

I've had an issue once where a medication manufacturer was not able to provide my very common prescription. This went on for many days, maybe a couple of months. These Rx are for your health, to keep you alive and well. When this happened they should ha e made a management decision to change suppliers OR seek out other Pubkix pharms that did have them in stock and transfer the inventory. Instead they redirected me to travel to another Publix 20+ miles away. This reached a point once where one pharmacy staff became argumentative and did not respect patient privacy. She did not like the fact of a customer providing her an experienced management suggestion. The drive thru is rarely open and they're closed for lunch for quite a long time, under staffed, 4 day wait to refill a prescription. 3
