Publix Pharmacy at Lake Nona Plaza

The employees are always very friendly fast and efficient. They even call me to go over medications and any questions that I might have. I manage myself my husband and my senior mother and they are always very good. I've been going to this Publix for over years 20 years, and they have always been on point. Team Publix Pharmacy is salute you!

For over a week, we were told that my husband’s prescription for self-administered testosterone was not in stock and were advised to call other pharmacies. We followed instructions, waited patiently, and trusted this location to follow through. Then, after all that, we were suddenly told the pharmacy “does not feel comfortable filling it.” We understand that testosterone is a controlled substance and that pharmacists have a responsibility to use good judgment. But this situation was handled with poor communication and what felt like bias. It felt discriminatory not only toward us, but also toward our physician, who was never contacted directly by the pharmacy. No one reached out to him to share concerns or request clarification. Went in to pick up some pseudoephedrine for a cold. Plenty of employees standing around talking to each other but none to help. This was my first visit to this pharmacy and will be my last.

I called the Publix pharmacy at 12:05 PM to confirm that my prescription would be ready for pickup. They assured me that it would be ready within an hour. Fast forward to 4:58 PM, when I finally arrived to pick it up, only to be told that my medication was now on a waitlist! Had they informed me earlier that they didn’t have the medication in stock, I would have contacted my doctor and arranged to have it sent to another pharmacy. The pharmacist's response was extremely frustrating – they claimed that they don’t know how much medication they have until they start filling orders. My question is, why did they tell me it would be ready within an hour if they weren’t even sure? If they had communicated properly, I could have taken action to ensure I had my medication in time, especially since
