Publix Pharmacy at Lake City Commons

I had an issue with 2 medications going through medicare and my health insurance which pays my Medicare deductible. Ashley was very patient, diligent, pleasant and helpful. She had to make several phone calls to get the right information from Publix corporate office. Finally she was able to get the right coding. She is an asset to the Publix staff.

This place has CONSISTENTLY gone downhill overtime. They take three days minimum to fill a prescription that used to only take one, they frequently lose your prescriptions, they don’t align with the app and try to charge you when you’ve already payed, they say the prescription isn’t ready even if the app says it is, AND THEY SAY YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH REFILLS FOR SAID PRESCRIPTION WHEN SAID PRESCRIPTION HAS SAID REFILLS LEFT. AT LEAST TWO OR MORE. This place is awful anymore. All the pharmacies in the area are awful but this one has quickly become one of the worst.

I’ve consistently had terrible experiences with the customer service at this location, from being yelled at for a system error on their end, to being transferred to a manager just for asking to be transferred to another pharmacy. I will never be using this pharmacy again, and it’s honestly disgusting how they treat patients with zero compassion or respect.

The guys in this pharmacy are some of the best people ever. When we had supply issues with one of my prescriptions they helped me work to see if there was another pharmacy nearby that had my medication. They are all always friendly and courteous. And even when the issue was mine we all know that even the best of us sometime get ugly and rude even when it's our own fault thay we're sympathetic they would smile and say that they understood and still showed a great deal of empathy. So unless there is something where I have no other choice but to change pharmacies this will always be my pharmacy
