Publix Pharmacy at Kelly Park Crossing

Multiple pharmacists work there. My last encounter with one of them was really bad. To make a long story short, she wouldn't fill two particular meds I'd been prescribed. When asked why, her reason was a complete lie. I'm a nurse, so I knew, but I also called Walgreens and spoke with their pharmacist who agreed with me. I had my prescriptions transferred to Walgreens and filled with no issue. I can't say with 100% confidence, but it felt like the Publix pharmacist (a woman) was profiling me as a drug addict. I wouldn't want to get sued 😊 This doesn't mean all pharmacists at that location will treat patients like she did though, so take what I've said with a grain of salt.

They never have the refills automated no matter how many times you request the automation. You have to continuously follow up with them to get your prescription on time and if you don’t receive it because the doctor didn’t approve the refill, they won’t notify you either. This causes you to be without medication for a few days.

I just recently moved so I needed a new pharmacy. I hit the jackpot. Unfortunately I have stage 3 brain cancer so I take a lot of medication all the staff has treated me very well. They have a quick and easy drive through. Keep up the great work! Thank you for such great service. Update still the best pharmacy. One of the best Publix I’ve ever had as my store. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable thank you to the trainer of this store because they are doing a great job.

Why would the pharmacy provide a refill with pills that are broken. And automated system is always an issue.which delays the refills. Time to go elsewhere.

Could not fill my narcotic monthly pain medication. I am trying to change my pharmacy from Loch Leaven Publix in Mt. Dora to Kelly Park Crossings which is almost right across the street from my home. I cannot wait until an unspecified date for Kellyp Park to order it because it gets filled 30 days apart exactly and I cannot run out of medication and Kelly Park cannot say how long it will take before my order comes in. Withdrawals from this medication are extreme and can actually cause seizures and death. The DEA and Pharmacists are tavaiting ery strict about the laaws filling these medications and actually get attitudes and give lectures but suddenly the meachingdication loses its importance with them and they are very casual about a patient waiting and getting deathly ill without it.
