Publix Pharmacy at Grand Traverse Plaza

WHEN YOU SAY YOU CLOSE AT 7PM, YOU SHOULD CLOSE AT 7PM!! I've been going to this pharmacy for years. When I moved, I still continued to go to this pharmacy even though it was an 1 1/2 hours away. Every month I have to make a trip to get my medication. Usually, everybody at this pharmacy is so awesome and friendly. My visit today was horrible. I dealt with a pharmacy associate named Ashley. I had never seen her before and was later informed that she was subbing in at this store. I wasn't aware the store closed at 7pm on Saturday. Regardless, I still ended up walking in the doors at 7pm. As soon as I got in the store, I could see the pharmacy gate was closed. This was at 7pm meaning they had closed early. I walked up to the gate and asked are you closed? Ashley said yes at 7pm. We have generally had great service at this location but recently had a quite unpleasant experience and was treated very poorly by one person in the pharmacy. Simple miscommunication between insurance company, pharmacy and Dr that couldn’t have been navigated much differently but was not. We decided to forego using this pharmacy and going to use CVS instead moving forward.

The staff here is absolutely committed to over the top customer service. Nothing too difficult or unusual should be their motto. Always friendly, willing to help and efficient. Wow!

I have had so many problems with this pharmacy. Prescriptions that I get on a regular basis. Would be so rude and confusing on there policies. Most recent was needed a script due to flare up and on my phone doctor sent me scripts to verify didn’t realize I had to choice pharmacy. So I called pharmacy that I accidentally sent to called them they said to call publix and they would transfer. Called publix and told me it could take up to 24 hours. I told I could not wait that long. I was having a very serious flare up. I needed to know how I would know...he just keep saying it can take up to 24 hours. I hung up and called pharmacy where script was at and they called in to Winn Dixie had it filled for me in 20 minutes. I had used publix for years but last five years they have become so Disconne

I went in to do some shopping everything was great till I get up to the register and check out.. I could have sworn the Coronas were 12.99 and the reds apple ale were 14.99 but both rang up 16.99 let it go whatever I might have looked at it wrong then Pepsi products were buy 2 get 2 we spent 5 min figuring out weather or not Dr pepper was a Pepsi product regardless if it wasn't .. the sign was under it but let's spend another 5 min debating.. I left with 80.00 of stuff at the register and walked out.. I'm here to buy stuff not debate
