Publix Pharmacy at Gateway Crossing

I experienced what the last reviewer said. Told different conflicting things. They'll say it with a smile too but I find it condescending. Almost like when someone is happy to not help you. I'm writing this at nearly 4AM with yet another night of insomnia since they are deciding not to fill my meds. Which means another day of not being able to work, and a much higher probability of experiencing health flare-ups, physically as well as mentally. There's some nice people that work here but I understand why there's only approximately 10 positive reviews. This pharmacy is mediocre, at best. I know Publix Pharmacy is dealing with some things right now, but this is exactly why y'all are having problems to begin with. The lack of common sense is strong. This is NOT OK.

Had excellent experiences here but last month the pharmacy texted me my Rx was ready 8 minutes before close, forcing me to pick up the next day- as I live 15 minutes away. The next month I am told 3 different things within 24 hours, by Keri, one of the pharmacists. I understand that the fill date and pick up date are different. However, it was the way that she went about telling me this. It was very much “listening to respond” vs listening to understand my concern and efforts to prevent confusion in the future. She kept cutting me off before I could finish asking a question. Very disappointing, I always hold Publix to a higher standard and this was very low. 😢

Friendly staff, especially at the deli counter. And the roast beef sandwich was delicious 😋

I've been meaning to post this review for a long time. This pharmacy was not the closest to my house, but after nightmare experiences another pharmacy by my house, a friend in the area recommended this location to me. It was like night and day in contrast to what I had experienced previously. The two pharmacists who work here and their techs are the friendliest, kindest people I've dealt with in a long time. The pharmacists are also both extremely knowledgeable and were more than willing to answer any questions I had or assist me with any issues. I've since moved across the bridge to Tampa, but I want to give a huge thank you to the great people at this pharmacy. Don't bother calling for same day filling. I did, was told an hour, so I gave them 1.75 hours as my bus was due 15 minutes later. They did not even start my prescription until I arrived, making me wait another hour for the next bus.
