Publix Pharmacy at Eastgate Shopping Center

To help my friend who's 86 years old, I picked up her prescription of 7 pills- Round Top, non-scored pills and CLEARLY on the instructions it says take HALF a pill 2X a day. They couldn't be bothered to to cut and 1/2 7 pills for their 86 year old client! Horrible. They should be embarressed.

I had a prescription sent in and it took 2days for them to process it. The tech told me they have so many prescriptions to fill and could take days but she would move it up and I waited 20 min. I get my prescriptions often and never waited. The the answer was unacceptable. I guess she was telling me I should go somewhere else if I needed my prescription in a timely manner. At the end it was for insulin and I wanted the pre measure pen. Now let’s see how long this takes.

My insurance does not cover my thyroid medication. So when the company jacked the 90 day price from 50 to 160 I was left scrambling to find a price. Did the whole goodrx thing and found publix had the best price. The staff is always kind and helpful.

Update: Another terrible experience at this pharmacy. I would rather just order my meds from overseas rather than dwal with these awful people. Extremely slow. I went in today, dropped off a prescription and was told it would be 30 minutes. After well over an hour of waiting and wasting my time I gave up and left.
