Publix Pharmacy at Eagles Landing

Really used to like this place. Taking care of disabled FIL and needed to order his meds. Did the automatic thing on phone and told "ready Friday at 3 PM". Went in on Friday about 6 and not ready. The tech was a horse's behind. If I wanted to wait, ready by 7:30. No thanks. Called Customer NO service and regional manager from Auburn, AL called. Very nice, professional and said he would investigate. Within a day or so, received a call from a woman saying she was a manager and she was told to call and apologize. She did no such thing. Another horse's behind. I see where tech got attitude from. Followed up with regional manager. No response.

They work closely with VA to get veterans in and out without hassles. They have no problems calling Tricare or VA to get matters resolved.

I just had back surgery. My wife took my prescription here to get my pain medication filled and they denied accepting the prescription. The prescription was written by ortho georgia and I have tricare insurance. They would not give her a reason why they would not fill it. I had to call tricare nurse hotline to get down to the bottom of it. To tell us they won't fill it and not give us a reason is unacceptable. If given a reason we could figure out what to do next. This was rude and now I must sit in a poop load of pain while trying to figure out what to do about the meds.

Showed up at the pharmacy at 5:43 with a prescription from Piedmont Hospital for my 9year old who just got released from Hospital. The Pharmacist said he was closing at 6:00 and he didn’t know if he had time to fill prescriptions before closing. He did say he would try his best to get the 3 items filled before closing. I have to say he actually did get them filled. Thank you so much Christian Manley

I've been getting my prescription filled at the Publix pharmacy on East Atlanta Rd. for at least 5 years without any problems so I assumed that this pharmacy would be comparable. I was wrong. Every time I've gone here to pick up my prescription, I had to wait in an extremely long line only to be told that my prescription was not ready even though I had called it in more than 24 hrs in advance. This time I called my prescription in on a Wednesday and requested to pick up on Thursday. I arrived Friday and after waiting in line once again was told my prescription was "in progress". Please avoid using this pharmacy if at all possible.
