Publix Pharmacy at Country Club Corners

I used to love this pharmacy. They would go above and beyond and have the best service but today I went in to pick up my son’s prescription.. the same one I pick up every month and I didn’t have my physical ID on me.. I forgot my purse by mistake but I had a clear photo of it and a long history coming here and the lady told me no and I asked if they could look to make an exception and the pharmacist didn’t even look at the scenario.. just a flat out no.. I work in the financial industry and understand the importance of proper ID but I also know when to look into a situation to make exceptions and provide a better solution to someone to make their day a little easier. I had already had a terrible day and running 20 mins back and forth over this just made it worse.. this wasn’t the only bad

The pharmacist just told me I could not fill my Phentermine because I have to use the Publix closest to my address, which is 12 miles from here. I live in Deltona and am staying in Deland temporarily. He said the DEA would investigate them if he filled it instead of the Publix closer to my home. Not a huge deal but it is a lie, and now I have to drive 30 minutes to another Publix, then back again whenever it is ready. I only fill it at Publix because it is so much cheaper with my goodrx gold card but I cannot stand their pharmacy. I do not take any other medications. I have only been prescribed Phentermine by one practice. It is the standard dose that anyone gets for weight loss nothing fishy, and I have only filled it at one other PUBLIX pharmacy before today because of my location change

If I could leave less than one star I would. My girlfriend was just refused her anti anxiety medication because the manager thought the prescription “looked funny” you do not need a job working at a pharmacy if you’re going to refuse mentally sick people their medication. Especially when it comes to Anti anxiety or anti psychotic medications. The manger told us that she wants to “call her doctor and ask why it’s prescribed the way it is” I am furious right now! And I will be telling all family and friends not to use this pharmacy! To make matter worse, the supposed manager asked my girlfriend to explain her medical history and why she needed the medication. Well I have been filling my sons prescription at this location (Country Corners) for years. So today I had a “new” employee (Kaylee) I’m assuming.Well she was rude and not helpful at all. I’ve used a co-pay coupon since my son has been on this new medication (1 year) and she tells me it’s not in the computer and that I have never used it before. I told her, yes I have. But I paid the 25.00 which was 77.00. But is never any cost at all. And then she says “next time, you need to come inside, so you won’t hold up the line”. There was no one in line behind us. But even if there was, there is a drive-thru for a reason. So we were trying to tell this lady about the coupon and asked her again on why it cost, well she hung up the phone (speaker) and walked away. I love Publix but this lady is not
