Publix Pharmacy at Colonial Towne Park Center

The pharmacist that was working last night (unfortunately, I did not catch her name), caught a dosage miscalculation from my pediatrician. The urgent care pediatrician had prescribed my three month old daughter double the dose of Tamiflu that she was supposed to be taking. I am very grateful that the pharmacist caught this, my primary pediatrician said my daughter could have had major issues if she was to take the double dose.

Really difficult to get any medicines that are considered 'controlled substances' ..Avoid a lot of back and forth hassle and just send the prescription to costco instead. The staff is friendly though.

Kevin, the pharmacy manager, was incredibly helpful and friendly. I had called earlier to update the insurance information and had a few questions about a new Rx we were prescribed for one of our children. He was attentive, patient and informative with all of his answers. I actually turned to my wife after speaking with him to say how pleasant the call was. When picking up later he remembered me and out conversation and then answered a few additional questions I had and made sure I was comfortable measuring out the odd dosage prescribed. Convenient pharmacy location and often not much of a wait and quick to fill as well.

Maybe it wouldn't piss me off so much as when I call to check on my prescription and you were closed, you could tell me you are closed at the beginning of the recorded message. But no, I had to press buttons and when finally ready to talk with a person, I then find out you are closed.
